"Tres"

Tres is a prime example that good guys can finish first!! This boy is charming and sweet and aims to please. His temperament is a 10+! Physically he's hard to beat too. This dog covers ground with big powerful strides and yet gives the impression that he goes along with very little effort. When we show him we do very little hand stacking - naturally he rarely puts a foot wrong so we just let him shine. He shows with a lot of animation and his personality and sense of humor make his performance very entertaining. Tres finished as a puppy (9-12) with 4 majors in just 4 shows. He was Best In Sweepstakes at the Kenosha ACC Supported Entry and he won his Sweepstakes class at the 2006 National Specialty Show. He has been shown very limitedly as a special and even so he has become a Sporting Group Winner and a multiple group placer. He is a proven stud dog with kids working successfully in the field and the show ring.

Dozer arrived at Sandbar in the fall of 2007. He and his sister Courtney were born in Virginia to a litter co-bred by Sandbar and our good friend Amanda Stokes-VanVorhees of Tempest Chesapeakes. Shortly after arriving Dozer set out on an adventure to a new home in Texas. In the fall of 2011 we were THRILLED to welcome Dozer back home to Sandbar. We really enjoyed getting reacquainted and watching him relax and rehab in our big grass yards. He settled right in an made friends with everybody he met. In the spring of 2012 he set out for California. He has been spending time with his uncle Ric and aunt Lea Plaut of Alibi Acres. The highlight of his few brief show outings was his Best of Breed win at the 2012 Pasadena ACC Supported entry. Dozer is a sweet dog with a very loving nature. He has made some very nice kids including some Champions in his first few breedings and we have very high expectations for his future performance as a stud dog.
